Blouse: I was very careful about taking my measurements for the custom blouse, but I should have bothered. The blouse is enormous, the cups are far too high, and the shoulders are cut straight so that the stand out and create a gap. I brought it to my neighborhood seamstress and she said it would cost more to alter this blouse to fit than to buy a new one of better quality.
Saree: I ordered the saree pre-stitched. They actually followed my waist measurements correctly (unlike for the blouse) but the left the palu too long. It touches the ground even when I hold it up with my arm. Also, it does not drape nicely like in the website photos. Feels like im wearing a plastic potato sack.
Material: I didn’t expect the best quality at this price, but I was still disappointed. It looks cheaper in person, it doesn’t drape well, and the smell is horrible (even after letting it air out for several weeks).
Overall: not wearable. The cost to alter would be more than I originally paid. Will have to throw away and buy elsewhere.
